Surface Finishing Equipment Manufacturer: Factory, Capacity and Quality System
Equipment built in Xiamen since 1992 — vibratory, disc, barrel, magnetic and centrifugal systems, with the media and compounds that run them.

Factory and facilities
Jintaijin builds at No. 31, Xinchang Road, Xinyang Industrial Zone, Haicang District, Xiamen. The company was founded in 1992 and the plant is owned rather than rented, so the assembly floor, the test bay and the shipping bay are under one roof and a machine can go from assembly to a loaded test run without leaving the building.
The site is close to Xiamen port, which is why the export side of the business works the way it does: a machine can be crated, loaded and on the water within days of the final check. It is also why the address on every certificate and every manual is the same one.

What this page is for is the other half of the story. The company history and the team are on the About Us page; what follows is the manufacturer’s capability file, written for the person who has to decide whether a supplier can make their volume, on what equipment, under what quality system, and deliver on time. Every figure quoted here can be checked against the certificates, the type-examination reports and the product pages, and the ones that are still being confirmed are named as such rather than estimated.
The floor area, the number of employees and the monthly output are being confirmed by the business and will be published here as figures rather than estimates.
Manufacturing capacity
Eighteen machine platforms are in production, and they are the eighteen the two type-examination certificates cover, so the list below is a checked list rather than a catalogue. The vertical certificate covers the machines that finish a workpiece on an upward or a downward stroke; the horizontal certificate covers the machines that work the part against a rotating tool.

| Type-examination report | Coverage | Machine platforms |
|---|---|---|
| SD-90049647 | Vertical stroke, the vibratory and the barrel machines | CJS480A, CJS320, CJG480A, CJG320, BJ160B, BLG400, LX80B, PLG200, YJ500 |
| SD-90049648 | Horizontal stroke, the disc and the magnetic machines | WFX50, LLG40, LLS120, LLS50, HG70A, CL40, ZL150, ZL300, ZL450 |
What that means for a lead time
A standard machine from the catalogue is built and shipped in 25 to 35 days from the deposit. A built-to-order configuration — a non-standard bowl size, a special voltage, a custom guard — takes 45 to 60 days, and adding a separator or a dryer extends it again. The build slot is the part to plan, because the freight from Xiamen is 30 to 40 days at sea and is not ours to shorten.
Quality system
The machine range is type-examined against Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC by UDEM International Certification Centre, against EN ISO 12100 for the mechanical safety and EN 60204-1 for the electrical equipment, under reports SD-90049647 and SD-90049648. The quality management system is certified to GB/T 19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015 by Zhongjian Certification Co., Ltd. under certificate 00720Q05213R1S, with the scope covering the design, development and production of grinders. The group holds twenty-four granted patents and utility models.

All of it, with the certificate numbers, the dates and the patent numbers, is on our Certifications and Patents page, and every number there can be checked with the issuing body.
Equipment we build
The lines we lead with are the octagonal barrel machines, the tub vibrators and the OBD series, and the rotary barrel tumbling machines behind them.
Octagonal barrel machines
Auto PLC barrel rotary buffing tumbler, deburring and surface finishing, for rough and fine surface performance. The control is a PLC: up to twelve grinding solutions can be stored, and the grinding time and mode, the water circulation and the speed are set from the panel.
The models in this line are listed on the product page.
Applies to: A batch of simple shapes, with the cycle set from the panel
Vibratory finishing machines
Vibratory bowls and tubs drive the media past the workpiece in a flow, so the cut is even over the whole surface and a batch goes in at once.
| Model | Capacity | Machine |
|---|---|---|
| — | 60 / 80 / 100 L | Vibratory finisher |
| — | 150 / 200 / 300 L | Vibratory burnishing machine |
| — | 200 L | Vibratory finishing machine with separating unit |
| — | 300 L | Vibrating polishing tumbler |
| ZL350 | 350 L | Vibratory finishing machine |
| — | 600 / 1200 L | Vibratory metal polishing machine |
| — | 600 / 900 / 1500 L | Vibratory polishing machine |
| ZL600C | 600 L | Vibratory finishing machine with separator |
Applies to: Deburring, polishing and burnishing
Disc finishing machines
The part is held against a rotating tool, so the cut is controlled and local rather than spread over the surface.
| Model | Capacity | Machine |
|---|---|---|
| CF50 | 50 L | Centrifugal disc finishing machine |
Applies to: Where the finish is measured, not judged by eye
Media and compounds
The media and the compound decide the result, and they are ours: ceramic and plastic media sized to the part.
The models in this line are listed on the product page.
Applies to: Every process above
Tub vibrators
The wood barrel machine works the batch in wooden barrels, one above the other, so the part and the media turn together for a long cycle and the part never touches anything harder than the media.
| Model | Capacity | Machine |
|---|---|---|
| OBD-YG350 | 150 L × 2 Barrels (Total: 300L) | Wood Barrel Dry Polishing Machine |
| OBD-YG450 | 150 L × 4 Barrels (Total: 600L) | Wood Barrel Dry Polishing Machine |
The barrel capacities are read from the product page of the rotary barrel tumbling machines.
Applies to: Simple shapes, in a wooden barrel, in volume
Magnetic finishing machines
A mass of flexible needles follows the contour of the part, so it reaches into slots and thread roots without touching a point.
| Model | Capacity | Machine |
|---|---|---|
| OBD-30 | 30 kg workpiece | Magnetic finishing machine |
| OBD-100 | 100 kg workpiece | Magnetic polishing machine |
| OBD-360D | 8-10 kg workpiece | Magnetic finisher |
The workpiece capacities are read from the product pages of the magnetic finishing machines: OBD-30 (30 kg, a 1000 x 580 mm processing area), OBD-100 (100 kg, 2300 x 680 mm) and OBD-360D (8-10 kg, a 400 x 250 mm drum).
Applies to: Burrs in slots, cross-holes and thread roots
Centrifugal dryers
Drying is a step of its own after a wet process: the spin throws off the water, the hot air drives off the film.
| Model | Capacity | Machine |
|---|---|---|
| OBD-35 | 30 kg load | Eco hot air centrifugal spin dryer |
| OBD-35A | 35 kg load | Eco hot air centrifugal spin dryer |
The load capacities are read from the product pages of the centrifugal spin dryers: OBD-35 (30 kg, a 400 x 300 mm basket) and OBD-35A (35 kg, a 400 x 285 mm basket).
Applies to: After a wet process, before packing
The whole range is listed on the machines page, and the media that runs in it is on the grinding media and the ceramic media pages.
Markets served
Jintaijin sells into hardware and hand tools, medical equipment, eyewear and plastic frames, titanium and high-strength alloys, and industrial machinery. The work in each of them is different, and the articles below are the ones we have written about the specific requirements rather than about the equipment in general.
Hardware and hand tools
Blades, chisels and cutting tools are deburred and polished before they are packed, and the requirement is a consistent edge over a large number of parts.
Polishing aluminium alloy products → Aluminium alloy polishing: surface quality →
Medical equipment
Surgical instruments and orthopaedic components need a finish that can be checked, and a surface free of any particle carried in from another job. The media and the compound for this work are dedicated, not shared.
Finishing medical instrument parts → Polishing solutions for a medical device maker →
Eyewear and plastic frames
Plastic frames cannot take a coarse abrasive, and the usual failure is a hazy or a distorted frame rather than a slow one. The process is a fine stage and a separate polish, with the frames kept moving so they do not heat.
Polishing plastic frames without whitening or deforming → Acetate frames: dry against wet tumbling →
Titanium and high-strength alloys
Titanium is hard, it work-hardens, and it picks up contamination from a charge used for another material. It is worked with a dedicated media and a short, cool cycle, because a distorted titanium part is scrapped rather than reworked.
Polishing titanium without scratches or distortion → Titanium in aerospace: centrifugal disc finishing →
Industrial machinery
Castings, machined housings and hydraulic components are deburred and finished before assembly, and the specification is usually a roughness figure rather than an appearance.
Electropolishing against vibratory finishing: cost and results →
Before and after
The two pictures are the same stainless washers, photographed in the shop before and after. It is the ordinary part of the work rather than a special case, and it is the clearest answer to the question every buyer asks first: what does the finish actually look like on a part I recognise.

How we work
Six steps, and the fourth of them is the one that saves a project. A trial on your own parts removes the guesswork before the order, and it is the reason the quotation that follows is a number and not an estimate.

The questions a buyer usually wants answered before the first call — what it costs, how long it takes, how the machine is chosen, which media to start with — are answered one by one on our finishing machine FAQ, and the cost breakdown is set out there as well.
Send us your part
Send a photograph of the workpiece, the material and the finish you need. We will come back with the machine, the media and the cycle time we would use for it.
Send your part →Everything quoted here is a figure that can be checked: the machine platforms against the two type-examination reports, the quality certificates and the twenty-four patents on the Certifications and Patents page, the models and the capacities on the site's own product pages, the delivery times on the FAQ page, and the address on the certificates themselves. The floor area, the number of employees, the monthly output and the export countries are being confirmed by the business and will be added here as figures. Nothing on this page is an estimate presented as a fact.
